    Xbox series x wont wake up after going to sleep


    I am having an issue with my series x. When it goes to sleep it won't wake up. The power light is on but its as if it won't turn the hdmi back on. My TV doesn't get a signal from the unit. I have to force shut it down and restart the unit. Any thoughts?

    Network adaptor not working when "instant-on" power mode enabled upon boot.

    For what it's worth, PS4 will wake from sleep no problem on the same wifi. It's funny. After getting wifi to work again on xb1, upon a power off in instant on mode, it wont wake from the windows 10 app, and wont be connected to wifi again.. ugh.

    If your TV has a sleep option to go to sleep / wake up, depending on HDMI signal then yes.

    Try this: Uninstall the game. Set the game to reinstall and immediately put the console in sleep mode. Try to let the console sleep during the entire installation. The install will go much faster and have reduced chance of error in sleep mode. After a bit,
    wake the console up and install the update. You may wish to put the console in sleep mode once the update starts. Again, this will make it update faster with reduced chance of error. Then wake the console up a bit later and see if that worked. It should work.
