Xbox Series X wont turn on

Yesterday i was playing a little bit of Forza Horizon 5 when suddenly my xbox shut down completely. In a state of panic i waited a minute before turning it on again. When i tried turning my xbox on again however the console keeps turning off a few seconds later.

I have gone through the steps of power cycling

I have checked the chords

My xbox is plugged straight into the wall unit

I've tried contacting Xbox Support but cant get a hold of them as the calling option keeps saying it's currently unavailable even though i've checked the microsoft support status and it says its up and running. My consoles warranty is about to expire and its really stressing me out that i cant get any help.

Most likely yes but the xbox one wont be future proof aka wont be able to play certain games in the future the xbox one x will be it will eventually turn into an older console but still will be able to play the game the series x can

I'm sorry you are experiencing issues with your console.

If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a few questions.

- Besides your TV/monitor, do you have any external devices plugged into your console?

- Is your console plugged directly into one of the wall's outlets? Sometimes extension cords, power strips, surge protectors, and similar devices, can cause this kind of problem.

- Have you already tried to unplug your console's power cord for a few minutes? 5 minutes should be long enough for its internal power supply to reset.

- Have you already checked if your console will boot to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter? To do so:

• Unplug your console for 30 seconds.
• Plug your console back into the outlet.
• While the console is off, press and hold the BIND and EJECT buttons.
• Without letting go of them, press the power button once (do not hold).
• Continue holding BIND and EJECT for 15 seconds or until you hear a second boot-up tone.
