    Xbox Series X Won't turn on and Microsoft support website will not let me request a service


    I have a two month old Xbox series X, which no longer turns on. It will chime when hitting the power button, but the power light goes off immediately and does not turn on. I have attempted all the steps in the Xbox support page My Xbox console won't turn on | Xbox Support which has not helped. I now want to return the Xbox for a service, as it is within warranty. However, the Device Services page for my Xbox breaks when requesting a service, always posting an error when the form is at the confirmation stage.

    Irritatingly, I can not even get live chat support from a human, as the request a call option from Virtual Agent is also broke, giving an error message everytime I put in my phone number, even in UK business hours.

    I want to service my console as soon as possible, but Microsoft are making it impossible at every step. Does anyone have any solution so that I can talk to a real person and get the service order completed?

    Hello again,

    I see that there has been no attempt to answer my query regarding servicing my non-functional xbox, or the broken Microsoft webpages to request a service for said xbox. As I have been attempting to both request a service and receive a call back with no success for multiple weeks, I will assume Microsoft have no intention of honouring their end of the warranty agreement, and will be forced to pursue legal options via the consumer rights act in the UK. I would strongly recommend that microsoft either fix the issues with the Request a Call Back feature of the contact Us page, or simply add a directly reachable phone number, before more individuals run into the same problems that I have.

    I have attempted to repeat the steps I outlined in my original post, which included the webpages you linked in your first reply. The request a service webpage continues to be broken, as does the Request a call back feature on the Contact Us page. My xbox is still unable to run on.

    Do you have any guidance on when the getting your product serviced feature, or the Request a Call Back Contact Us feature will be functional again?
