Xbox series X wont connect to xbox network even though its connected

I appreciate you letting me know. In order for us to isolate the issue if it's your home network or your console, is there a way for you to use a different network connection such as a mobile hotspot, and test it out?

Hi sorry for the late response, ive used a mobile hot-spot and it seems to have connected and properly and is working as it should - also i should have noted in my original post that this is a recent development and it has connected to my wifi and worked previously however it seems that has changed

I’ve had the exact same problem I have tried it on my hotspot and it works does not work on my internet I have a Xbox series s also tried it on my Xbox one my internet works fine on everything else I have tried all the reboots and hard resets what is happening?

We just need to perform troubleshooting steps such as extended powercycle and resetting your network hardware. Please follow the steps below accordingly along with the time period:

"1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."

Hey so ive done the following it connects properly and works as its meant to for a short while before it reverts to how it has been (connected to Internet but not xbox network) sorry it took so long my homes Internet is very active so i couldn't disconnect the router immediately
