    Xbox Series x with Controller doesn't work as expected


    Hello community,

    After 1 month from finally getting a new Xbox Series x, there’s now a huge lag in almost all controller buttons when it’s connected wirelessly, however, it works as expected when it’s wired connected, any one face that issue?How can be solved, please help here.More Information:
    The lag happens in dashboard, games, everywhere (but not always, sometimes after 30min using console)
    First month perfectly worked just fine. Suddenly I've started experiencing such issue.

    * Controller is update to date (Firmware Version: 5.5.2641.0)
    * Console is up to date. There's no pending updates.
    * Controller batteries are new, fully charged.
    * Controller settings are set to Default.
    * Another Controller is examined but still same issue.
    * There's no new deceives installed in my home using Bluetooth.

    I can't identify the exact issue. but it seems not fully with controller, neither fully with Console. It's the communication in between. In order to approve my point, I've tried using Controller with a type-c wire, it worked just fine.

    According to the explanation you have provided, please make sure to follow the following steps in order to fix your issue.

    Please follow the the instructions on both links first:

    Update your Xbox Wireless Controller | Xbox Support

    In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

    Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

    The last option would be for you to try and request a replacement for your controller from the microsoft website online.

    If nothing from the steps above help you resolve the issue please try to contact the Live Support in case you are the replacement is not successful from your side.

    The Xbox Series X controllers will work on Xbox One consoles, and the Xbox One controllers (including the Elite/Elite V2) will work on Xbox Series X too.

    Connecting the controller with a USB cable doesn't work,

    Controller still disconnects even with a USB cable connected,

    I have the same issue with Series X using mouse and keyboard for Call of Duty Vanguard.

    I played during the beta and there was no problems with the controller disconnecting but as soon as the game released, the controller disconnects,

    I've tried a Xbox One controller Series X controller, with batteries and a USB cable, and the controllers still disconnects.
