    Hi

    I was trying to cast/mirror from my android phone to my Xbox Series X and its not letting me to cast. I have used this app called wireless display on xbox one and casted/mirrored my phone. Is there any way to do the same on Xbox Series X.

    Unable to project PC to Xbox series x using wireless display

    Hello George C.

    I have tested the above and had no luck. The closet I get is I connect both PC and Xbox Series X to the same WIFI (with both network cables unplugged) and I can see the XBOX as a wireless display to cast my PC. however, it attempts to connect, and the screen blinks and immediately says disconnected.

    I have now been able to connect to the XBOX with my laptop, but still not able to connect through my PC.

    My PC is showing as a wireless display capable device in the Drivers command "Wireless Display Supported: Yes (Graphics Driver: Yes, Wi-Fi Driver: Yes)"

    I have further uninstalled Norton antivirus from my PC and reverted to windows antivirus.

    surely I cannot be the only one with this issue?

    Sure so basically I play games on the gaming PC but sometimes I want to be in the living room. I don't want to lug it around.

    xbox has the wireless display app which screen mirrors from your pc but also allows you to use the xbox controller for input.

    I still want to use mouse and keyboard and I cannot figure out how to keep using mouse and keyboard when xbox is running the wireless display app. It always reverts to the controller only.

    I basically want to use the xbox and the wireless display app like moonlight but keep using a mouse and keyboard instead of the xbox controller.

    Is that more clear?

    Sad. I appreciate the help. It seems so easy but I'm struggling to find the perfect solution...at least until there is a steam app forXbox.

    It's more clear and I'm able to say that it's not possible, the app it's designed for controllers, but there's other apps to share your display that could fix your issue

    I have tested Easycast app on my series X and it works correctly to cast my phone files but will depend on what you are trying to cast
