Xbox series X wireless controller bugs on PC ?

Hi, since a while now i get a bug on some games where my controller is detected as many and it makes the game not work or some other issues. I have multiple examples. 1, on rocket league, whenever I'm in a situation where a teammate could join the game and i press select, it makes another player join on my screen, liked to... nothing, it just joins. 2, on Steam, when i'm sharing my game to play with my friend, I have all 4 controllers set on my controller, like it was 4 controllers, i can give the position to other devices but it's strange. 3, on The binding of Isaac, i simply cannot play with my controller, if I touch it, it makes a friendly flying minion join, like it would do if another player had joined, and the i'm stuck, i can control the new buddy but cannot press start or anything, soft locked with the controller, The only way i could change this is by going to settings with KBM (keyboard) and change the game controller manually (It wasn't doing that before i got the xbox controller). 4, On Tower Fall, when i play with my friend using parsec, i simply cannot detect their controller on the game if i use mine. 5, on Bread and Fred, same, if i used a controller instead of KBM with my friend, it doesn't work.
That's all the example I can remember at the moment but there is plenty others.

Does anyone hav any idea why this may be happening ? I feel like i'm the only one having this problem, drivers don't change anything.

Hi,

The Series X|S and Xbox One controllers are not compatible with the old Wireless Gaming Receiver used to connect Xbox 360 wireless controllers to a PC device. However, they do support connection to a PC via Bluetooth.

That’s not a controller issue, the Xbox Wireless Controllers don’t have a reputation for obliterating computers. My controllers, which include the Series X|S version and the Xbox One version, both connect and work fine with it.

(With the exception of the Series X|S controller being almost completely unusable right now for me, due to firmware bugs. But even with those bugs, it didn’t screw up my computer or the game I was playing.)

Maybe the game you’re trying to play doesn’t have gamepad support?

Xbox wireless controllers, including the latest Xbox Wireless Controllers included with the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles, are compatible with the Xbox Series S. In addition, some older Xbox One wireless controllers work with the Xbox Series S. As for third-party wireless controllers, the compatibility depends on the specific controller and whether it is designed to work with the Xbox wireless protocol. The Ant eSports controller you mentioned appears to be a third-party controller designed for PC gaming, and it may not be compatible with the Xbox Series S.
