    Xbox Series X Wired Headsets not able to talk in parties


    I have had my Series X since December and I have had no issues, however a few days ago while in a party my mic cut out and I couldn't talk. I thought my headset was broken (Hyper X Cloud) so I went out the next day and bought a new one. I plugged it in and again same thing I can hear party and game audio but I cannot talk. Am I the only one experiencing this? If not does anyone have a solution? I've reset my xbox, messed with settings etc.

    I've tried these and nothing has worked, I can't talk on my other Xbox as well, I have an alternative account and same thing there.

    I understand you about the xbox license.

    I rather not want to have a wireless headset because I dont like charging and the battery life will decrease over time. So that leave me with two options:
    1. Wired, 3.5mm into the Xbox series x controller
    2. Wired, usb, into the Xbox series X

    I checked the microsoft store and there are only 2 compatible series X headsets. Both wireles.

    Do you know any wired Xbox series X headset? That is compatible with the series x? I prefer USB but have to go 3.5mm otherwise.

    Try creating a party and on the top page of the party screen you should see hit y or x to unmute. See if that comes up for you and use it to unmute your mic. If not try the link below.
