Xbox Series X will not turn TV on or off now?

Was curious if anyone else is having the same issue after the latest Xbox Series X update where the console no longer turns on or off the TV.

As an fyi, yes my TV does have HDMI-CEC turned on and it worked perfectly with my Xbox One X. I also have gone through and followed the trouble shooter forums for this issue:

"Although the setting may show as “On,” you will have to toggle the console’s CEC settings on and off for everything to be applied back again. Go to Settings > General > Power mode & startup > TV & AV power options > HDMI-CEC."

Regarding your issue, I will need to try doin a reset on your console to that you can refresh the system How to reset your Xbox console to factory defaults | Xbox Support.

Having this issue with the series X and the 2020 77” LG OLED. Only thing that fixes it is turning the TV off and on.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting your Xbox Series X to work with the HDMI cable it came with.

Make sure the HDMI cable is securely plugged into the correct HDMI port on your TV and your Xbox Series X.

Try a different HDMI port on your TV to see if that fixes the problem.

Check for any visible damage to the HDMI cable, such as frayed wires or bent connectors. If you find any damage, try using a different HDMI cable.

Power cycle your TV and your Xbox Series X. To do this, turn off both devices, unplug them from the wall, and wait a few minutes before plugging them back in and turning them on again.

Check for any updates for your TV or Xbox Series X and install them if necessary.

I have a series x connected to a Philips Amerlight 65pus8535 I get 5he silver metallic screen playing x/s dedicated games and it also appears while using Disney plus app from my tv apps! Is this a problem with my tv or is it a Dolby vision problem, I have turned off the dolby for gaming and this worked but in the detail list on my Xbox series x it says that the dolby vision may experience distortion?
