Xbox Series X Wi-Fi unable to connect

Every once in a while when I turn my Xbox Series X off and back on the next morning it is still ‘connected’ to my Wi-Fi however it won’t establish a working connection. The only work around I have found so far is manually entering the SSID of my network and entering the password 3-4 times until it decides I have entered the correct password. I do not know if this is a known bug or specific to my console but it is extremely frustrating.

Edit: Console refuses to connect at all now. I bought this direct from Microsoft. Disappointed that they’re selling faulty consoles.

If that worked would that prove that the Wi-Fi receiver in the Xbox is at fault ?

As my Xbox series x and Xbox one connect and play perfectly online via the same Wi-Fi

None of these options worked, and my Xbox series x does connect to the Wi-Fi, I have a good connection. What’s next ?

- Are you getting an error message?

First, please ensure that your Xbox Series X is within range of your Xfinity Wi-Fi network. If it is, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Restart your Xbox Series X and your Xfinity modem/router. This can often resolve connectivity issues.

2. Check that your Xfinity modem/router is not blocking your Xbox Series X from connecting to the Wi-Fi network. You can do this by logging into your Xfinity modem/router's settings and checking the list of connected devices. If your Xbox Series X is not listed, you may need to add it to the list of allowed devices.

3. Try connecting your Xbox Series X to your Xfinity Wi-Fi network using a wired connection. If this works, it may indicate that there is an issue with the Wi-Fi signal or settings.

Doesn’t help at all ****. Absolute waste of $750. Problem continues to this day. Just connects to the internet whenever it feels like. Cheaply made product. Can’t wait to buy a playstation.
