    Xbox series x, weird noise


    Hi my series x has started making a buzzing sound, only way I can describe it is the sound of electric buzzing, when on or standby or total shut down, when every thing is turned off.

    When I remove the power cable it stops but as soon as I plug it back in it starts again, it didn't do this noise when I received it from Microsoft.

    Any ideas or should I just phone Microsoft.

    Doesn't seem like a normal sound, but could be that you have a disc inside and the surface isn't flat, if that's not the case

    Follow these steps to request the service:

    It would be the only explanation for the problem to happen only on Xbox series x, which is weird.

    The only issue ive gotten is internet low download speed but thats i guess my distamce from the router

    So far been playing elden ring all day

    Devilchildz, depending on the noise, indeed could be coil whine, if it doesn't affect the performance of your console, then probably is, my Series X also from time to time presents coil whine sounds as well. :)
