Xbox Series X weird freezes with buzzing noise

What kind of "weird noises" are? Is that whistle, or is it buzzing? If its just buzzing, propably your xbox is reading the gmae disk.

This is normal along with the buzzing noise do not be concerned about it damaging your Xbox at all. Certain games are more prone to freeze then others. I've experienced freezing and the buzzing noise that sounds horrendous hundreds of times and no damage
has been caused to my system or anything hooked up for it. Continue to game on with no concern.

It's the original version... My Xbox makes 2 weird buzzing noises when it tries to read the disc then it just says open tray.

Give the Xbox a good clean down, check the disc for marks or dirt and make sure it has ventilation, if you still get the odd freezing then try clearing the cache, if you really sure your going to purchase the next Xbox on release I would try and keep it
going till then and save the money for repair towards that (if it out of warranty).

At any point, did the entire screen freeze forcing you to reset the xbox?

If so.. more than once in the same sitting?

If not, just examine the underside of the disc. Make sure it looks okay.. Make sure there isn't a defined ring near the center.

Also, in order to avoid potential issues like this. Keep your xbox off of a carpet, Keep in horizontal NOT Vertical, and DO NOT EVER move the Xbox while it is turned on and a disc is inside.
