Xbox series X Warranty related query

Hello fellow gamers. I have purchased Xbox series X console on 4th February 2022. And i have registered my console on Microsoft website, as i was checking my warranty status it showed that my warranty expires on 16th November 2022. As Microsoft provides 12 months warranty, shouldn't it show that warranty expires on 4th February 2023 ? and also how to extend my warranty if i want to ? i have the receipt of my purchase which states that i bought it on 4th February 2022.

Hello BhavyaSanghrajka, your warranty starts from the date of purchase on your invoice, what the system shows is the data that came from the factory because Microsoft does not know when the console will be sold.

To update the warranty on the website you need to contact Xbox support via chat and request a warranty update on the system, they must ask you to send your invoice digitally to them and the time will be updated.
