    Xbox Series X video capture issue


    Hello guys. I'm having an issue with capturing video clips using my Xbox Series X. I don't have external storage so the clips are always saved internally (I usually do 3 min clips, for social media etc.). My problem is that the audio in the video clips is delayed for a few seconds, like characters speaking but words not being heard until after a few seconds.

    This issue only occurs when recording Xbox Series XS optimized games (tested with AC Valhalla, Control Ultimate Edition, Mortal Shell Enhanced Edition). If I'm recording a ''last gen'' game like Code Vein or AC Odyssey then the audio records normally in the clips. I've uploaded one of these clips to Youtube, so you can see the issue.



    I've tried power cycling the console, clearing the internal storage for clips, it didn't help :/

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated ^_^

    Game captures are terrible.

    Xbox series x. There is so much documentation about this issue, no-one has a solution (apart from streaming on twitch, saving the vod and then editing the video). Compared with my xbox one captures, taken well over a year ago, they are awful, choppy, stuttering messes. This is not a problem on my end, this is a problem with the xbox series x capture system. The fact captures are STILL terrible is a joke, given the series x was released over 18 months ago.

    No sorry, it's not possible. Only the Xbox One and Series X|S can capture pictures and videos directly via the console.

    Is there something wrong with the long-form recording option in my Xbox One X? Unable to reliably record for longer periods.

    I have a very, very fast Samsung ssd. It was 200 bucks i think last year for 1 tb. Same issue with xbox one x. I only capture in 4k hdr. Beyond that its pointless. So now, i don't capture. Xbox series x..... come on down!

    I am sorry to hear that.

    The Xbox Series S uses the same system as the Xbox Series X, but, voice recording in video capture is not an enabled feature due to privacy concerns.

    Funny how I haven't had this issue on my xbox one x ever but when I go on my xbox series S then it just starts having the lag spike issues with my captures.
