Xbox series X usb ports stopped working

Hey, last night i powered off my series x and upon waking up the controller i had plugged in via usb wasn't responding and i discovered after plugging the cable into my phone that the port was the problem, I figured it was just the front one and decided to deal with it later but then noticed my external hdd was also not powered. I have tried unplugging g the console for like ten minutes and i am very concerned since I only got said Xbox under a month ago and have treated it perfectly. thank you for your responses.

The keyboard itself plugs into my controller and the usb, I have plugged into the usb port on the front of my xbox series x. When using the keyboard, the keyboard works but the mic stops working.

yeah i did , i ended up fixing it though it was the cable for my external hdd, the thing that confused me is taking it out didnt fix it right away but after taking that cable out and leaving it for an hour the usb slots came back.

When you say you have tried unplugging the console are you removing all cables plugged in? I had this issue a while back and after unplugging everything from the console including hdmi and ethernet cables, I waited about 10-15 minutes then plugged everything back in and it worked just fine after that.

Yes mate the Xbox Series X will have an optical out port, 2 HDMI ports, 2 USB-C port, Ethernet

Ensure that you are using the correct USB port on your Series X. Some consoles have multiple USB ports, but not all of them may support USB 3.0 speeds. Check your Series X's manual or support website to see which ports support USB 3.0 speeds.

Try connecting the SSD enclosure to a different USB port on your Series X. If the first port you tried did not work, it is possible that there is an issue with that specific port. Try a different one to see if it recognizes the SSD enclosure as USB 3.0.

Verify that the USB cable you are using is rated for USB 3.0 speeds. Some USB cables may not be rated for USB 3.0 speeds and can cause the device to not be recognized as USB 3.0. Ensure that the USB cable you are using is rated for USB 3.0 speeds and is in good condition.
