Xbox Series X Upload speed significantly lower than my Internet's capabilities

Are you suggesting that Xbox series x are not capable at all of getting more than 250 download speed? I have a friend who lives less than a mile aware who pulls through over a 1gbps on series x, how do you explain that?

Appreciate 250 is a good speed, but besides the point. Why should Microsoft gamers be limited to 250mbps download speed when WiFi packages exceed this massively?

I have gig internet and my upload speed is never above 50. UL speed is always going to be much lower.

Could it be an issue on my internet provider's end specifically affecting my Xbox One X? As I have my classic Xbox One plugged in along side my Xbox One X and can see it still performing downloads at a significantly faster speed then my Xbox One X.

It's also worth mentioning that you could talk to Virgin. They are committed to the broadband speed code of practice which means they should offer an alternative package if your actual speed is significantly lower than the advertised package.
