Xbox Series X turning off

Discus and support Xbox Series X turning off in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My Xbox Series X is turning off when I play most X/S series games.     Xbox Series X turning off


    My Xbox Series X is turning off when I play most X/S series games. It happens randomly but usually pretty soon after I start playing. It doesnt do it at all when I play non X/S series gamesI can play for hours with no issues. Also X/S games like Gotham Knights that are locked at a lower frame rate dont have issues either. The Xbox is well ventilated and I have tried all the standard fixes for the Series X shutting down: resetting the console, changing the power setting, turning off HDR, not using a power strip, using different Xbox accounts, etc. None of this had made a differrence when playing most X/S games.

    Not necessarily fifa 21 xbox one version crashes and turns mine off so does fortnite

    I have almost the same problem except the error message says

    “if you’re using Xbox series X/S, note that HDMI audio can’t be turned off. In other consoles, either optical or HDMI audio must be on. (0x80bd0009)

    Why can’t I turn off hdmi audio on Xbox series x it makes no sense?
