    Xbox series x Transferring games from one external had to another


    So i have ran out of room on my externall drive and am looking to upgrade it this week my question is how do i transfer the games on my old external drive to the new one do i have to reinstall everything or can i transfer them like you do between the ssd
    and externall drive

    Xbox Series X games / upgrades / updates has to be installed onto the Series X internal or expansion card SSD,

    You can have Xbox One games on your external hard drive that will get an Series X upgrade but the games will need to be transferred to the Series X and then the Series X upgrade will need to be downloaded onto the Series X SSD,

    As an example...

    I have Marvel Avengers on my external hard drive that will get the Series X upgrade and I will transfer the game over to the Series X SSD ready to download and update the game to the Series X version when available.

    What games are you transferring? Which consoles are involved? If it's transferring from, say, a Series X/S to an Xbox One, then it may be because the games are S/X versions.

    As to the expansion pack, I believe that is only available to the account that bought it and the console that account is on...it can't be transferred to another account on another console

    Newer games require faster storage bug. Will not let me -download- to external harddisk/ssd

    To transfer games from the internal hard drive to an external hard drive on an Xbox Series S or X, navigate to "My games & apps", select the game you want to transfer, choose "Move or Copy", then select the external drive as the destination and confirm.

    You should be able to do that, yes:

    "Power down your Xbox One.

    1. Unplug the external drive.
    2. Connect the external drive to your Xbox Series X, S.
    3. Power on your Xbox Series X, S.
    4. Wait for the external drive to be detected. This may take a couple of minutes.
    5. When the drive is detected, you are free to copy any games you want onto the Xbox Series X, S internal storage."

    Why can I not play as dlc characters on injustice 2 when I have bought them and installed them?

    If I do that I wouldn't be able to reinstall them the only way to get them back is to plug in my xbox one and transfer them from the internal storage to a external one ,and then plug the external drive into the series x
