    Dear Microsoft.......

    from all of your die-hard gamers......****

    I'm in the same boat as hundreds, if not thousands of others in here who pre-ordered via your website. I have a confirmation email with an order number, received on Sep 22nd at 9:30 am. Since then, nothing. I verified my order was under my order history
    on my account. That lasted for about a week, then poof, it disappeared. I've double check my payment (PayPal)....nothing. I've refreshed and re-logged into my account, no order listed between wasting money on Madden and Flight Sim 2020. I take that back,
    Flight Sim 2020 was my lone highlight of the year.

    I've called your fabulous (and outsourced) CUSTOMER SUPPORT line 4 separate times. 1st Time: "well since you have your confirmation email, you should be good" 2nd Time: I'm sorry, that's not right, you should be able to see your order in your order
    history. But you have your order email. Yea, dont worry, I dont need to look, you will get it. *that guy was rude as **** by the way* 3rd Time: Hey sir, Yea we see there is an order there but we can not view it (he didn't have the permissions to look
    at my account??) 4th Time: Yea, we are aware of a glitch with our system regarding pre-orders. We are just now processing our Sep 22nd orders." Wait......you're just NOW doing that??

    So....after that recap, I was basically led in circles 4 separate times. Your "glitch" is a joke. You're a billion dollar industry leading computer and software company and you guys had a "glitch" in your ordering systems?

    So my question is, are you going to honor my order or you going to tell me the same bs line that every other support person did and say "it's on its way", when in fact it's not.

    No guarantee, but baring shipping issues they are pretty good at getting it there on time, if not early.
    I pre-ordered the Series X direct from Microsoft, and it appears on my MS Order History. However, I've not received a confirmation e-mail that the order was placed. Was there a glitch with sending of e-mail confirmations for the pre-orders? Should I be
    concerned with the status of my order?

    When you pre-order, check to see if the games you want have Smart Delivery. That means you can pre-order the Xbox One version, but you'll get the Series X version for free when it launches. If that's the case, then go ahead and pre-order the One version.

    Otherwise, the One games should still be improved when played on the Series X (https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2020/05/28/xbox-series-x-next-generation-backward-compatibility/)
    so it's just a matter of which version you want.

    why did they release a new console with very limited stock ?

    You had as much chance as I did to pre order a console and it wasn't my fault that you couldn't be bothered to go to your local game store to pre order a console.

    Nothing like playing on my launch day console that I had the sense to pre order like the other people that were waiting in line in front of me to pre order theirs as well.

    Even if I hadn't pre ordered my console I wouldn't go on the Xbox forum crying about that I couldn't buy one.

    I stay in the UK and I just had a look at some of the websites that sell consoles and all of them have the Series s in stock but they have no stock for the Series X.

    So I have the Xbox Series X that I pre ordered and I got a Xbox Series S two weeks ago as a spare console.

    Which specific Xbox do you have? A Series X or a One X? If you have the One X then the Xbox One version doesn't release till April so, if you've pre-ordered for that, then that would be why. If you've got a Series X, then that's a different issue
