Xbox Series X Sync Button not responsive

Launch day Series X user here.

After a few weeks of play without any major issues, I've been unable to sync any controller to my Xbox Series X for 3 days now. In fact, as of 2 days ago, the Sync button on the console no longer responds at all. Previously, the console light would blink
to indicate that it was searching for a controller (though it wasn't successfully connecting to anything) but now the console doesn't react in any way when I press the sync button.

I've tried syncing the console to multiple controllers, including the original Elite and the Elite V2. So far, the only way I can play is directly connect my original Elite controller to the console and use it in wired mode.

I understand that there are some connectivity issues being looked into by the Xbox team, but I'm looking for information as to whether my specific circumstances fall into the category of the things being addressed, or if I need to look at options for hardware
replacement.

TLDR: Controllers unable to sync to Xbox Series X, and console sync button is no longer responding at all.
