Xbox Series X surround sound and mic questions

I would like to change from a headset to full surround sound and am hoping someone could answer some questions or give me some advice.

Are there any soundbars that have a built in mic that works for gaming?

Is there a controller chatpad with a built in mic?

Does anyone use a wearable shoulder speaker for gaming?

Do you have a surround sound setup without a headset that has little to no echo that you want to brag about and give advice on?

    :)

    Surround sound and questions?

    Hello,

The headset by itself isn't surround sound, it's just noise canceling. What makes the headset truly virtually surround sound is the mixamp, or in your case would be the Mixamp TX that should come with the A50 bundle. You shouldn't need anything else besides
the headset and the Mixamp TX.

As far as your question about HD through your monitor, this depends on if your getting a LCD monitor that has an HDMI port on the back and if your Xbox 360 also has an HDMI port on the back. As long as the monitor supports HDMI it should support
at least up to 720p and as high as 1080p.

I personally have Astro A40's and I got a chance to try out the Astro A50's and they honestly sound crystal clear. I'm usually against anything wireless, but this is honestly the first headset that I didn't have any sort of weird issues with, it was purely
a simple setup out of the box. Make sure to read the instructions that are included in the box when you get the headset, and I highly recommend getting the warranty extension if you haven't already from the AstroGaming website since it's honestly really cheap
    and it's worth it.

    Xbox One Wireless Headset

They have a wireless set of surround sound headphones/mic that are supposed to come out in Oct. From what I have seen it has the mic monitoring as well.
