Xbox series X support 1920x1080p?

Hi I'm currently looking for a New monitor to go with my series X but I want to find the one that best fits. Does the Xbox series X support 1920x1080 since it can goto 4k or does it cap at 1440px1080p if im trying to go for 120fps?

I am pretty sure the Series X runs natively at 4K 120 FPS as long as the game supports it. You getting a 1920x1080 FHD monitor is 100% fine. Some developers have opted for a “Performance” mode and a “Quality” mode. So you might get a 1440p game at 120FPS
on the performance mode vs the same game at 4K with 60FPS on the quality mode.

The HDMI OUT on the xbox one X is HDMI 2.1 which supports 4k at 60hz and a couple more things.

The HDMI IN is HDMI 1.4 which only supports 1920x1080p at 60hz.

Sorry, this is a hardware limitation.

xbox does support 1920x1080p, when out of range then the xbox could have defaulted to 480 and the monitor does not like it as the xbox might not be picking up the edid info from the screen, what model monitor is it.
