    Xbox Series X sudden low brightness


    When I am playing a game whether on HDR or SDR the session goes fine for a random amount of time, then the screen suddenly dims the brightness. It gets temporarily fixed when I go to the home screen then back into the game until few minutes later the brightness goes dim again.

    I have owned the console for over 2 years and this only started happening yesterday. My TV is Samsung Q80R 55" 2019.

    I also made sure to turn off all power saving options for TV and xbox (at least the ones related to screen) but to no avail.

    Go to settings, general settings, tv display, video modes, turn on AUTO hdr and the other hdr setting,

    After doing the above step hope there will be a fix.

    I played on a different console and the same issue is still there. It appears to be specific to my TV through HDMI connection as the problem doesn't show when using Prime Video. I kindly ask a mod to close this thread. And my apologies for the inconvenience.
