    Xbox series x storage expansion


    Hi, I was wondering how many seagate ssd expanded storage expansion cards and how many hard drives can we use per Xbox series x. I know there’s only 3 hard drive and 1 expansion card slot but if those get full can I take them out and attach different ones to add more storage and use different hard drives and expansion cards on the same Xbox series x or is 1 ssd expansion card and 3 hard drives the max? Thanks

    Both Series X/S games and Xbox One games that been optimised (I'm British) for Series X/S must be installed on either the internal storage or the expansion card. They can not be run from a USB connected storage device. My optimised Series X/S Xbox One games
    were moved to my Expansion card during their update.

    Are you trying to install and at the same time play games optimized for Xbox Series X|S games on it? If yes, that will only work with Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S. We can only install Xbox One games on a normal external hard drive. Here's what you can check

    You can use an external storage device for backwards compatible content and to store Series X games, but the Series X games will only run off the internal drive or the expansion card.
