Every now and then it might be 64 but it hangs between 64-72+.

This may allow the game to play but this isn’t good enough to play online multiplayer games the way they are designed to be play. You certainly can’t use 4k at that latency.

Don’t waste your time responding with the restart, clear cache, and so on steps. This has always been an issue.

ignore the latency test in the xbox settings, this is just a test to a server in the US which could be far from you, the test always results in a bad score. it also depends how your isp is routing traffic also.

Hello Topsixrows, as mentioned above, the test that the console does is on Microsoft servers in the US, what will really matter is which games you will play online, where are the servers for these games, if your IPS does a lot of traffic routing, etc.

I'm having the exact same issue with 2K23.... I got a brand new router and upgraded my internet speed and my router has under 20ms latency... Yet my series x bounces between 70-100ms and it KILLS ME in 2K23

they are using series x hardware in the datacentre's now, so in fact series games on the cloud are running via mostly series x hardware, still the quality is set by your internet speed and latency, if you have good speeds but your latency is rubbish then you will get reduced picture quality to prioritise controller latency.

but cloud gaming is still only streamed at 720p.
