    Xbox series X sound cutting out.


    Just tonight and its been all night long that my audio is cutting out through my headset. During the cut outs while im playing the game lags like my controller is cutting out. Everything is updated from my Xbox, game, and controllers firmware. The only thing i can think of is i have purchased rechargable batteries off amazon but that was months ago and never had any issues, i even tried switching to regular batteries with the issue continuing. If i restart my xbox i can get a few games in befire its happening to kuch to play. Has anyone had this issue or any fixes for this? Also its not my internet is all good as well im not getting any other lag then when the audio cuts out. Thabk you.

    XBOX Series X, newest patch....sound cuts out minutes after loading. Restart the game and it works for about 2 minutes then cuts out again. It is only the Marvel Avengers game and it is new after the Tachyon rift patch.

    Had the exact same issue with it being inconsistent as to whether it's cutting out in-game or in-menu. Is there a solution?

    Thanks for the suggestions. Think I’ve sorted the issue now. It was to do with hdmi settings, some of the visual output settings were wrong & I assume it was interfering with the sound output. For anyone else experiencing it, it’s a question of going in & making sure everything’s at the optimum settings for your tv

    If it didn't work, try using a headset and performing this configuration.

    Main button, go to the right on the system tab, and then enter the Audio option!

    See if the mic is activated

    And then put the 3 bars all in the middle, to test (if you have one in gray, blocked, let me know)
