Xbox Series X Smell

Hey guys I’ve picked up my series X this past Saturday and I must’ve played it a handful of times for only like two hours and for some reason whenever I would go towards the fan up on top of the console it smells like hot air/burnt rubber I really don’t know how to describe it. There is no smoke or anything of that matter. I took the instant on feature off and when the console fully shuts off it’s cool as a whistle and there’s no smell. Could this be just a new electronic smell because the console works perfectly fine. Also im coming from an OG Xbone, do the newer machines get very hot? Thanks!
