    Xbox Series X shutting down even when stand by mode is on?


    I'm in the beta ring.

    I have noticed that, despite the fact that I have stand by mode turned on, if my Series X is off for, let's say overnight, I see the Xbox logo popup when turning it on, instead of just seeing the dashboard, like normal. So, I'm guessing it's getting shit down completely after a while?

    I have done a little testing, such as turning it off, then back on, to see if the Xbox logo shows up, but it doesn't. So, it seems as though if it's in stand by mode for a significant amount of time, it just shuts down?

    Has anyone else encountered this?

    I am having the same issue .I just received my Xbox series x and it keeps shutting off .I followed instructions to get instant mode on and there is no option for instant mode .I have stand by mode and energy saver that’s it .just wanted to see if I can get this issue resolved.thank you

    I have the same issue

    Nba 2k22 next gen on X series, if only i go to any online activity mode, like 5v5 Rec, console just shutting down. Offline modes i could play 24/7 no problems

    When i called Microsoft, wanna know what they told me ??

    "It is very weird, make sure you got proper ventilation and plugged in directly"

    Sigh

    Really pushing me hard for a switch to PS5 ehh, they don`t shut down in 2k22, they also got their issues, but you can play at least, their consoles don`t shut down.

    I mean this issue with Series X shutting down is beyond imagining, just unreal. Tons tons of reports on internet on various forums, X series users reporting it from some time now, did not see any PS5 shutting down user reporting it, just other minor bugs.

    How long xbox 360 servers is open?

    The only reason I don’t think Xbox 360 servers will be shut down anytime soon, even after series X comes out, is that you still have games that I’ve just been added to backwards compatibility and those games will continue on when series X comes out. A
    lot of the backwards compatible games have multiplayer elements that need servers so it wouldn’t be a good idea to shut down games you just released.

    yes, as long as you don't have it on power saving mode, IF your power brick is OFF when you shut down, then its on power saving mode, regular stand-by an the console shuts off but the power brick stays on, << you are down loading <<
