XBOX Series X shutting down / crashing

Hi All,

I have just received a replacement series X from Microsoft, my last one (launch console) kept crashing/freezing/shutting down. I have had my replacement a few weeks and all was fine……until today! When playing games the exact problem is happening, game freezes and system shuts down, AC Valhalla, Borderlands 3, which I play mostly, but also in Microsoft store, dashboard, what do I do?? I can’t keep playing games with random shut downs happening, is this an issue that everyone is having or only a select few? I find it strange that it has happened on 2 consoles now, I have tried different tv’s, power sockets, it’s makes no difference. Game won’t take it back as it’s over 6 months old so can’t get a refund and Microsoft have replaced once. I don’t want to sell it as who ever buys it will have the same problem

My xbox series x is crashing when playing Anny game is started op it freezes after 2 minutes and shuts down can you tell when there will be a fix update for this best regards theis

Just white usually a game will crash, light blinks series x games seem to struggle to play. And sometimes they'll freeze and shut the console down. No error messages though

I’m having the same problem with my Series X and Halo. Sometimes just the game crashes, sometimes the entire console shuts down. I have tried all of the above suggestions and it still happens.

I purchased the Series X specifically for Halo. Very frustrating.

I want them to repair the game then from shutting my Series X down and crashing the game and returning me to the Xbox homepage along with the game freezing whilst in a gunfight. Do they need to come look at my Xbox to sort this out ?

Yes please do and also, try to Perform an offline system update as it will help with the issue as well.
