    Xbox series X shuts off while playing Warzone but nothing else.


    My series X will shut off completely whenever I play Warzone. It’s seems to be at random. Sometimes I can’t spend 3 minutes in the main menu before it happens. Other times it can take and hour. No other games shut off my console, it doesn’t seem to be a heat issue (checked it with temp gun) same temps as Destiny 2. I’ve done all the self help uninstall/reset/clear. Nothing’s helped so far. Any ideas ? Thanks

    You had already tried to reinstall the game, right?
    Yes. I tried downloading Wired and over Wi-Fi. No change.

    May I know if the game is installed on the internal storage? If it is, and a power reset and reinstalling the game did not work, the other thing you could do is to factory reset your console:

    Press the Xbox button > Settings > System > Console info > Reset this xbox > Reset and keep my games and apps. The "Reset and keep my games and apps" option will not make you lose your games, but you will need to sign in to your account again.

    See if the issue persists and please let me know.

    In this case, since this is happening only with this game, this might be a game specific issue. I would suggest you to report it to the developers.

    Unfortunately after resetting my Seires X still turned off after playing only a few minutes. Anything else I could try? I’ll go back and try each step again.
