    Xbox series X screen tearing.

Hello I just bought a LG ultra gear monitor-32Gn600-b

I have a Xbox series X and I set the display option to 1440p @120hz

It works fine but I’m getting constant screen tearing on Warzone or Cod vanguard. Also I have VRR enabled.

I have tried turning off and on Freesync to see if that fixes the issue but I still get screen tearing.

    Any fixes ? Thank you

    :)

Screen tearing with Xbox Series X.

    Hello @ArTiiC JoKeRz!

I would recommend circuit resetting your Xbox. This can be done by holding down the Xbox button on your console for 15 seconds. I'm not entirely sure if this helps. Also check your storage. You may have too much downloads clogging up the console storage. Try the circuit reboot.

You should contact your monitor manufacturer about that, as their monitors failing to sync. Make sure the monitor firmware is updated

I've uninstalled a lot and did the circuit restart, however it hasn't worked.

Hi BobbyXVR, my name is Jhon, and will be a pleasure help you

Yes, the ALLM feature works if you turn it off on one of the devices and turn it on on the other.

ALLM, or Auto Low Latency Mode, is a feature that allows the TV to automatically switch to a low latency mode when an input signal from a compatible device is detected. This feature can help improve the gaming experience by reducing the delay between controller input and the action being displayed on the screen.

In your case, it seems that your TV does not support Freesync, which is a technology that also helps reduce input lag. Therefore, if you enable ALLM on both devices, the TV will try to switch to a low latency mode that is not supported by your TV. This can cause display problems, such as screen tearing.

To fix this issue, you can disable ALLM on one of the devices. If you turn it off on the Xbox, the TV will remain in its default picture mode, which should be supported by your TV.

Another option is to update your TV's firmware. There may be an update that includes Freesync support.

    best regards, Jhon
