    Xbox Series X, Screen Recording Audio is Out of Sync with Video Issue


    Hi all, I was lucky enough to upgrade my Xbox One X to the Series X Halo Infinite Limited Edition in November 2021. Ever since then, I have been having consistent issues with the screen recording feature. Screenshots are no problem, but whenever I record video, the audio will be out of sync / desynced from the video. This happens every two out of three times.

    I have seen other questions on the forum with answers that stated, "Try recording 720p or 1080p instead of 4K"--I can confirm I have tried recording at all different resolutions and the problem still persists. Others have stated, "Switch the Series X audio settings to 'Stereo Uncompressed' instead of 'Sonic' or 'Atomos'"--I can confirm have tried capturing video while my audio settings were on all of these different options and the problem still persists.

    Any suggestions? I'd be much obliged for the help--thank you in advance!

    Have you tried to power cycle the console? Sometimes it's all that need to fix this issues, if that doesn't work please try to restore keeping games and apps, please be sure that you know your account email and password:

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    On the Reset your console screen, you'll see three option use this one, be sure you remember the email and password of you're accounts:

    Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with Reset and keep my games & apps

    These were the system errors I was getting E200 000000EF 00000000 and E105 00000000 8007045D. My Xbox One X would freeze and it the loading screen for the Xbox One X chip video would be lagging and out of sync with audio and video. I would also get something
