    Xbox series x samsung tv no game sound


    so few days ago i noticed my games had no sound, i have sound on the menu, i have to keep unplugging and plugging hdmi cable , it takes 2 tries. First it cuts in and out second it works. Ive tried reseting my xbox and try but it keeps happening. Unplugging the power cable also fixes it for abit. Is it the tv or xbox ? How can i fix it ? Do i need to return the xbox or get a new tv ?

    Xbox series X has no in game sound but has sound on dashboard and everywhere else

    it only happens to the Xbox X series + Samsung TV. I have Xbox one and a sony TV as well. I tried Xbox X series + Sony TV and Xbox one + Samsung TV. both work...

    I also have the same setup. Xbox Series X conneted to Samsung TV via HDMI. Samsung TV connected to a Klipsch sound bar via HDMI ARC. Experiencing the same issue described by many others.

    Absolutely agree.

    So your set up is presumably just Xbox Series X to TV via HDMI and the sound comes out of you TV speakers? Interesting if that’s the case and further confirms that the soundbar is not the problem (if only Samsung would listen!)
