Xbox Series X|S User Interface concept I made, if you want any other features please let me...

I just bought a brand new Xbox One X, but when I go to the store, Flight Simulator and other Xbox Series X/S games say they are "not playable on this device" and I can't get Flight Simulator to install on my brand new Xbox One X because it says it's "not compatible". Very frustrating.

So you bought an Xbox One X and expected to be able to play an Xbox Series X game on it?

Why would a game made for an Xbox Series X work on an Xbox One X?

If you want to play Xbox Series X/S games I would take your brand new Xbox One X back to the store you bought it and see if they will take it back and you could try and buy an Xbox Series S (Series X consoles are very hard to find, but a Series S can be found fairly easilly)

S/X games are for the Series S/X which is a different console. If a game is made for a Series S/X, it will not work on any type of One.

Great question, in the store you will find three versions of Hogwarts Legacy, one for Xbox One, another for Series S/X, and the Deluxe version, the Xbox one version you can play on any console in the Xbox One family, the Series S/ X only works on new generation consoles, and the Deluxe version comes with both Hogwarts for Xbox and Hogwarts for Series S/X game versions and exclusive content. Be very careful when making your purchase not to buy the Series S/X version of the game, this version is only compatible with the latest generation consoles. The version of the game Hogwarts for Xbox One can be played on Series S and Series X consoles, but you won't have the same graphics as the exclusive version for Series S and Series X consoles. While the Series S is capable of 120hz output, almost no games on it support it. This is the budget system. It's not made for power.

When you specify model, please do so as Cbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox Series X etc. no one knows the numbers

It’s possible this is an anti cheat feature, so you cant spy for the other team,or that the game only lets you hear each other in close proximity. Form an Xbox party instead and see if that works. Call of Duty blocked parties for COD2
