    Xbox Series X|S pre-orders


    My Xbox Series S that I pre-ordered on September 22 still says “Pre-ordered” as the order status and today is launch day and it was suppose to be delivered today so I called Microsoft to see what was going on and they said all pre-orders were shipped Monday
    (11/09/20) and that there was a glitch that was saying people’s pre-orders have not shipped when they really have shipped. Is anyone else having this problem?

    my son bought (pre ordered) the x box one s Harry Potter Legacy version but has since saved enough and wants to buy an x box series X .. will the Xbox one version work on the series X?

    Yes it will, it just won't look as good as the Series S/X version. If he hasn't been charged yet, he can also cancel the pre-order and purchase the Series S/X version instead.

    I’m confused how will it work for both if one is physical and the other is digital
    Both consoles are digital...it's just the Series S is Digital only whereas the Series X is both Digital and Physical.

    why did they release a new console with very limited stock ?

    You had as much chance as I did to pre order a console and it wasn't my fault that you couldn't be bothered to go to your local game store to pre order a console.

    Nothing like playing on my launch day console that I had the sense to pre order like the other people that were waiting in line in front of me to pre order theirs as well.

    Even if I hadn't pre ordered my console I wouldn't go on the Xbox forum crying about that I couldn't buy one.

    I stay in the UK and I just had a look at some of the websites that sell consoles and all of them have the Series s in stock but they have no stock for the Series X.

    So I have the Xbox Series X that I pre ordered and I got a Xbox Series S two weeks ago as a spare console.
