    Xbox series X/S DRM


    I have been an Xbox fan since the OG Xbox, but just like the launch of the Xbox one and the DRM issues it had at launch I will not be buying a new console or continuing my subscription's with the xbox at all till the DRM issue is reversed/resolved.

    The reason for this is simple, I have in the past and may in the future lose my ability to have the Internet. Whether from financial issues or work conditions. This needs to be Fixed now.

    No one here is privy to plans for future Xbox

    If you wish a disc drive on a current console you can get a series X

    There is no way to Jerry-rig a Series S to accept a disc drive due to DRM requirements. The system would have to be redesigned. and you would have to purchase that revision.

    No such thing as an Xbox One Series X. The Xbox One family of consoles has an S and an X but are still just Xbox Ones. You need the Series family of consoles. The Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. These are different from Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

    The "One" and "Series" are the console types.

    Because on my Xbox series x, it only shows 'Optimized for series x/s' but if a xbox series x version of a game is NOT 'optimized' how would i know if I'm playing a series x/s version of a game?
