    Xbox Series X/S Controller Drift


    Anyone else experiencing this? I’m going to use Destiny 2 as the example here as that’s the game I play the most (and therefore the game I notice the issues the most). Basically I’ll put my controller down and my character will just start walking on its own. Sometimes I’m emoting as well and it’ll break out of the emote and start walking. If I fly in from orbit and land on a planet or in a mission/strike my character will immediately start walking on its own. I don’t notice issues (yet) when I’m actively playing with the controller in hand but sometimes I’ll walk away for a few seconds after taking cover behind a rock and find, for example, that my character has somehow managed to walk out of cover and off a cliff to its death. My controller isn’t dusty but, just in case, I blew into the left thumb stick to clear whatever (if anything) might have been there but the issue remains. I don’t remember it doing this a month ago and I’ve only had it since February!!

    Unfortunately the above did not help. This is a common issue among many with the controllers for the series X and S. Microsoft needs to really put their things together and go for a patch and better controllers. I am close to getting rid of the console because of all these issues. I had drifting, I had connectivity problem and now this. It's a shame that nowadays controllers appear to be such rubbish. Used the controllers for my ps4 pro for years and never had an issue. However, the series x/s ones seen quite inferior.... Sad story

    Xbox Series X|S controllers are fully compatible with the Xbox One, One S and One X. Also the Xbox One controllers work on the new Series consoles.

    Can a Xbox X controller connect to a 360 Xbox

    Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X controllers work on Xbox Series X|S, and vice versa. However, Xbox 360 is on it's own, similar to the OG Xbox.

    What's cool however is if you remote stream Xbox One, One S, One X, Series S, or Series X on, say, a PC, you can plug in a 360 controller and use it on the newer generation.

    But no, newer controllers aren't supported on 360.

    Xbox One Game receiver for Windows 10

    Bluetooth (PC, Android, iOS)
