    Xbox Series X/S Connection Issues on PC


    I have gotten two Xbox Series X/S controllers now with the same issue. They are not recognized in Bluetooth on my Windows 10 laptop. I have done all the troubleshooting steps and even more steps not listed. I have painstakingly sat through support which
    was no help. It appears that this issue is an issue caused by the firmware update because prior to the firmware update, it worked fine. I did experience random disconnects but it at least worked. Now, my controller is not recognized, instead, it comes up as
    an "unknown device" and when attempting to connect it says "try reconnecting device again." I paid $60 for this controller and another $25 for the rechargeable battery pack which is a lot of money for a defective product. I want to know if anyone else is having
    similar issues so that we can make this known and hopefully they'll fix it.

    The Series S and X controllers work on same devices the earlier controller can connect to. This includes:

    Xbox One Game receiver for Windows 10

    Bluetooth (PC, Android, iOS)

    Xbox One, One S, X and Series X/S.

    Series X/S not available in Beta app.

    Xbox Series X and S are out of luck for now.
