  1. Xbox Series X run out of save data (0x80830003)

I own an Xbox Series X and I keep running into an issue where I get a message saying “We are not able to save more data for this game or app, your Xbox is out of space for saved data. To make room, select a game or app in your games and apps collection, press the menu button on your controller, and choose Manage. (0x80830003).” I have been running into this issue most commonly in Snowrunner, the message pops up when the game autosaves, however the next time the game autosaves, there is no issue. Today I have noticed the message is appearing more frequently when Snowrunner autosaves. This is not the only game I own where I run into this issue, I tried to play Deus Ex Mankind Divided, to try out the FPS boost function that was recently added to this game, however the game fails to sync my save data when I first start the game and the error (0x80830003) pops up, so at the moment I can not play this game, this exact issue also appeared when I tried to play fallout 4. I am not sure a factory reset will help as it sounds like I have run out of save data in the cloud as I am prevented from syncing my old saves such as Fallout 4 to my Xbox although if I had run out of space it would not make sense that I am prevented from saving in Snowrunner but a few minutes later it allows me to save. I have enough storage space on both my internal hard drive and my external one, so that is not the issue. I would be grateful if this issue is sorted as it is very annoying.

    :)

I'm sorry, but your solution doesn't work.

I found solution myself, and this is how it's done:

    1. Go to settings

    2. manage storage settings

    3. clear locally saved games

This only fixed the problem for about 20 minutes for me,

This problem even effects games I've just downloaded for the first time I think its a hard drive issue and its common among my friends however this worked fine for them

I reset my console without deleting my games and apps, this seems to have solved the issue. However I would like to know what went wrong with my Xbox, as I don't understand how resetting my Xbox solved the issue.

Hi and thanks for reaching out. I hope you’re doing well. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I'll be happy to help you.

    Kindly try clearing your console's cache by following the steps below;

    1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    3. Plug the console power cable back in.

    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

If it still doesn't work, try to refresh your operating system and delete all potentially corrupted data that restricts you from using your console normally without deleting your games or apps.

Note: Make sure that you know your account logins before doing this step. Also, this will remove all your Home Xbox associations.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info > Reset console.

    3. On the Reset your console? screen, you'll select Reset and keep my games & apps.
