Xbox Series X replacement warranty?

I sent my dead out-of-warranty Xbox Series X console in for servicing. Just received an email stating that a replacement was on it's way back to me. Yea!

Question: After paying $400+ for this replacement (since my dead XSX was out of warranty), what kind of warranty will I get on this replacement. I have to imagine that after spending this kind of money, I will get some type of assurances that it will work for some period of time. As well, is there additional coverage that I can purchase for this replacement? I'm in Canada if that makes any difference.

That's strange, I Have Xbox 360, Xbox one Fat, Xbox one X and Xbox series X, just my One X had issues, but I replaced trough the out of warranty service and all of them are currently working

This is the same issue I had with X Series X console. It's a hardware fault. You will need to get the console repaired or replaced under warranty.

What started as a subtle noise on my first 6 month old Series X turned into a complete failure of the disc drive and the console was replaced under warranty.

Don't leave it to late to get it repaired or replaced under warranty.

Yes my friend. Since you paid for this repair, the warranty is normally 3 months from the date the console is returned.

When it arrives, you add the serial code on the website and you can check it out.

In some cases, the warranty is up to 1 year, depending on the console you return.

I pre ordered my Series X through Best Buy and received it and registered it on my Microsoft account on Nov 11th.

Just this morning I went online to Microsoft Complete warranty website and started an online chat and purchased the extended warranty through Microsoft for $49 plus tax.

All they did was went online and saw my Series X was registered and added on the extended warranty for me.

It is really a good deal at $49 and covers 1 console replacement and 2 controller replacements for 3 years. Best Buy warranty is $69 for 2 years and only covers 1 console replacement and 1 controller replacement.
