    Xbox Series X repeatedly shutting itself down mid game/app.


    My series x has shut itself down randomly 8 or 9 times over the last few days. Seems to happen more and more each day. I have had several game crashes as well where I just get booted to the home screen. I've tried the troubleshooting tips I've come across on here and other websites, but still haven't had any luck.

    I have been on the phone with xbox customer support for over an hour already and haven't been able to speak with anyone who understands what is going on? Any advice for me?

    Console Info: Series X. Mfg date is in July. 4k tv/60hz/no HDR

    Update: Has happened with multiple games, but primarily NBA 2k21 since thats the game I am playing most rn.

    Update: After a hour and 10 mins on the phone. Xbox customer service hung up on me while I was on hold. I received no help from them unfortunately.

    Hey there. I have the same problems. It occurs when playing nba 2k22 and yesterday it also happened at fifa 22. what’s the issue Microsoft? :(

    Mine just shut down while i was watching sling.

    It has been doing this since i got the console.

    I have ps5 and gaming pc’s so I primarily use this thing as a sling box in my bedroom.

    There is an issue with this console that is yet to be addressed.
