Xbox series X Remote play console needs more authetication

If you correctly setup it on your console and laptop, try to power reset your console and router:

Power Reset:
Turn off your console and router.​​​
Unplug all the cables and wait 2 minutes.
After 2 minutes, plug all the cables in again.
Wait for all the lights on your router to show and turn your Xbox on.

Make sure all the configs are ok and try to play remotely again.

If it still does not work, please test your NAT Type and UPnP:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
Under Current Network Status, see if NAT is Open and UPnP is successful.

Then remote.play wont work

Remote play ala xcloud is only available on gamepass ultimate

Game.streaming.via.the xbox companion app requires a xbox

Keep in mind you can't.use.the.xbox while you are.using.the wireless gamestreaming

Huh? Remote Play is nothing to do with Xcloud or Game Pass. And if it won't work, then how can they get it working on their Android device? And they have an Xbox so that's not the issue.

They are trying to Remote Play their Series X games from their Series X console to their PC via the Remote Play feature and using the Xbox App. This should work without an issue, as it does with their Android device. There is nothing on the Remote Play page to suggest Game Pass is needed

Have you went through the steps of turning on remote play on the console? What are you using to use the remote play options ie: computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone? You have to go through the settings to set it up. You can follow this link and it will give you step by step instructions:

I just tried the xcloud service directly from my series s and it worked absolutely flawless.

Now I am even more confused than before.

Why can I play cloud games directly from my Xbox in an astounding quality but it is not possible to remote play from Xbox to pc/ipad.

But what confuses me even more is that it works perfectly with ps remote play.

Just tested steam remote play from the PC to the iPad and that also worked wonderfully.

Maybe it's an general problem with the series s/x consoles?

Sadly, you you'd need to play it on a console (Xbox One/Series X|S) or on a more powerful PC.
