Xbox series x redownloading games

are the games showing S/X if so then they are downloading the updated versions for series consoles which cannot be stopped

If the games are Series X optimized, you will need to transfer them to the internal hard drive on the Series X in order to play them, but as Obsessive Power stated, you can just plug the hard drive in and not have to redownload anything.

As long as you're still using the same account you used to purchase the game, you'll be able to redownload it on the Series X.

Yes and yes. The series X will be compatible with Xbox One games so you can redownload them on the new console. The saves are stored on the cloud and should resync when you start a game.
