    Xbox Series X Randomly Powering Off


    My Xbox Series X is at most 1 month old. I picked it up in February.

    Randomly it powers off. The controller remains on. The only way to remedy this is to walk to the console, push the physical power button, and then the xbox works normally.

    This is happening multiple times a day. I don't believe my console is overheating as I am not getting an overheating error code and this will happen when I power on for the first time all day.

    I have noticed it to happen in media apps (Prime Video/YouTube TV) but also happen while gaming.

    Is this happening for anyone else/has anyone figured out how to fix this? I don't really want to send a brand new console in for repairs.

    Hi, If you didn't know, the Xbox Series X turns itself off randomly to protect itself from overheating or when there is no power. It can also hard crash, even when playing relatively low-powered games like Minecraft.

    Xbox series X keeps disconnecting from wifi when i power it off.

    I have the same exact problem - just started randomly happening about 3 months ago. Randomly when I power my Series X off it will disconnect from the known router address and I have to keep setting up a network over and over upon launching it the next time. Then it will be fine for a few weeks and out of the blue rinse and repeat.
