Xbox Series X randomly crashing

My Xbox series X keeps crashing to a static screen this is totally random and some days it won't crash atall then other days it can happen 2/3 times in quick succession.

That issue happens on warzone and recently when playing lies of p (these are the only games I play) it's also randomly crashing where it just freezes then kicks me back to Xbox home.

When either of these crashes occur I can still hear the sounds when I press Xbox home button but usually a reboot is required.

Is there any way of viewing crash logs to determine the cause as I suspect it could be the internet dropping out but would like to rule that out and also explore the option of it being a hardware issue.

The console is still under warranty.

Hi, If you didn't know, the Xbox Series X turns itself off randomly to protect itself from overheating or when there is no power. It can also hard crash, even when playing relatively low-powered games like Minecraft.

Not necessarily fifa 21 xbox one version crashes and turns mine off so does fortnite

There have been quite a few recent similar threads reporting this, and I believe the issue is software related. Please create a bug report when the games crash:

Hi Kris,

Was sure I replied to this but yeah I've reset the console a couple of times and also prior to that I'd done multiple power cycles and the problem reoccurs

I have virgin coming today to look at internet as it keeps dropping and I am wondering if that's the cause but I'd expect a network error message of sorts

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I am not aware of being able to view crash logs of Xbox console. Have you tried anything else like power cycling the console? Resetting keep apps and games?
