Xbox Series X - Quick Resume Issues

I have noticed with my new Xbox series X that not only does quick resume not work for a number of titles but ones that I do know work Can only be used for quick resume one at a time. I can’t have multiple quick resume titles back to back as advertised. Is there a setting I need to change or anything I need to install?

Hi, when you open the game in your Series X. The game starts from the quick resume / the quick resume feature is used?
Or did you open the game from the start?

No settings need changed on your end. Since Series launch MS has been tracking issues with Quick Resume. Some titles have had quick resume deactivated while they investigate.

Quick resume isn't a xbox one feature it's a series feature

You can expand the internal memory in a series x by using the xbox storage cards

As they are nvme

You cannot use a mechanical or ssd drive

In particular the game ‘control’ seems particuarly hit and miss....

Yeah it doesn't always work. Thankfully games already load fast. I'm sure it will get better.

Remember though, it only works on games that are installed internally or on an Expansion card. USB external drives can't use it.
