Xbox Series X Problem - Any Resolutions Available?

Thank you for your reply. I do not have another TV to try it on nor should I need to as from day 1 it has been working fine with the power I use and the position of the console. Not one single problem until now so it is NOT a power or TV issue but evidently a hardware issue.

After forking out £500.00 of hard earned cash for what was promised to be a seamless upgrade from my XB1 (which I never had a single problem with in all its years) it seems that after just over a year a so called robustly tested expensive console is now redundant to me and *I* should have to pay for a repair on something I have already paid a fortune for that has barely been used.

It seems I now have some choices to make, pay for a service/repair that I should not have to as this is not damage I have done myself but a mechanical fault or just go back to a pre-owned XB1 for a smaller fee than a repair/new XBX and not buy in to the hype of this 'upgrade' again or finally, after being loyal to XB since its original console days simply leave and switch to PS.

Overall I am less than amused with this - I work full time and look forward to a few hours relaxing playing the XB and don't have time to sit for hours trying to get this resolved.

I understand faults and breakdowns happen, I know, its happened to new cars I have owned, but as stated earlier I SHOULD NOT have to pay a small fortune for a repair on a £500.00 device this early in to ownership

Hello HairyCrabstick, sorry for what's going on with your console, you happen to have it attached to some kind of electric stabilizer, they're not good for the console.

Have you tried it on some other outlet and on another monitor or TV if yes and the problem continues and your console is out of warranty really if you come into contact with the support they will indicate the repair service paid for.

how did you get help finally?

So after almost a month I am precisely NOWHERE with getting the help I need and have been without a console for this entire period plus another charge to my account for my Ultimate membership that I specifically asked not to be charged because I cannot use the console!

Having tried talking to someone on the phone that was about as helpful and useful as a chocolate teapot. Live chat is absolutely pointless and trying to speak to anyone that understands me is impossible.

Right now I am sitting on a £600 unit that is useful for being a doorstep not a next gen all singing all dancing console. When I did eventually speak to someone they said it would cost me £245 to repair - I explained it just decided to not work and after barely a year I wouldnt expcet it just 'not to work' Even my XB1 lasted many years without a single problem

So, where do I go from here? I tell you one thing, the so called support from Microsoft has been disgraceful.

I am less than happy, I work full time and have not got a whole day to spend trying to resolve this

Hello again, I understand your putting, but outside sending your console to Microsoft, the other solution would be to send for some technical assistance.
