    Xbox series X Pre Order Cancelled by Microsoft


    I pre ordered a xbox series x on September 22nd, but then a couple weeks ago I received an email from microsoft saying they were unable to process my order and they would cancel the order for me. My bank says Microsoft never tried to charge my account, and
    I didn't think Microsoft charged till the product ships.

    I contacted the Microsoft Store and they told me they didn't know why it happened, and that their supervisor would have to look further into it and someone would contact me through email and/or a phone call back. I still haven't heard back about it, and
    its getting closer to launch day. The order is still in my order history on my Microsoft account, but it says cancelled under the billing info.

    Has this happened to anyone else? Can someone please help? Thank you!

    Same thing happened to me. It just vanished. Pre order for the series x was there until today. I got no notification of the pre order getting cancelled either.

    I bought hogwarts legacy deluxe edition

    All Deluxe orders were cancelled as it contains the Xbox One version, and the date was changed on that to April

    Pre-orders with the new dates of fulfillment are now open and you can re-order the game

    "The cancellation is due to the delay of the release of the Xbox One version which is included with the Digital Deluxe Edition for Xbox Series X|S. You'll be able to pre-order again and play when the game launches for the Series X on February 10th, 2023!”

    my son bought (pre ordered) the x box one s Harry Potter Legacy version but has since saved enough and wants to buy an x box series X .. will the Xbox one version work on the series X?

    Yes it will, it just won't look as good as the Series S/X version. If he hasn't been charged yet, he can also cancel the pre-order and purchase the Series S/X version instead.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    If you have is the Hogwarts Legacy Xbox One Version, I'm sorry but no, you will be able to play it on April 4, 2023.

    If you now have an Xbox Series X console, you may need to consider canceling the pre-order and pre-ordering the Xbox Series X|S version, just a suggestion.
