Xbox Series X power issues

Discus and support Xbox Series X power issues in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I assume that I can't be the only person having power problems with their series X?     Xbox Series X power issues


    I assume that I can't be the only person having power problems with their series X?

    Just wondering what I should do. Wait for update in hope that fixes it or send back for repair?

    Since I had the device delivered, upon first connecting it to my TV I had absolutely no HDMI output so I held the Xbox button down for a hard reset, It then powered back up with a display but when I was trying to go through the set up it repeatedly turned
    itself off for no apparent reason. It did this multiple times during the set up but it eventually stayed on long enough to finish updates etc. From there it seemed absolutely fine for over a week. However, over this weekend just gone it just started turning
    off again when I was trying to download a game from the store, it did this on and off about 10 times so I gave up downloading the game and it seemed to go back to normal. 10 minutes later, the same thing happened and continues happening.

    It only seems to stay on when in a game and downloads only seem to work if I leave my game running on screen which obviously decreases my download speed a great deal.. I did not expect this when getting a new gen console.

    Do I just book a repair?

    It's not in power saving mode, I've reset it, I've moved it, I've changed plugs, I've left the plug off over time, etc etc.

    I am losing patience.

    Xbox Series X power button blinks rapidly when I try to power it on from controller and then it doesn't power on.

    The rapid flashing of the power button on the Xbox Series X indicates that there may be an issue with the console's power supply or the internal hardware.

    The Xbox One X is a more powerful Xbox One. It's last gen. Go for the Series X, as that the most powerful Xbox at this time.

    Mine goes off after 2 to 3 hours of gameplay. Xbox ambassador advised me to carry out a soft reset on the console.

    Believe it may be an issue with overheating. Both Xbox Series X games and normal games seem to be crashing for me.

    Sorry to hear that. Have you tried plugging in the console directly to a different wall outlet without using power strip or surge protector?

    You can also try this: Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in. Press and hold the SYNC button and the EJECT button, and then press the Xbox button on the console. Continue holding the SYNC and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the SYNC and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. Select reset then keep games and apps.

    In case the issue still persist, the best thing to do is to request a service.
