    Hi,

    Have been playing cold war and have been experiencing console shutting down and turning itself back on.This has happened to me,my son,my nephew and his friend.we where all playing at the same time as a group.It has happened once or twice to me and my
    son but my nephew and his friend have it happening quite often.

    if you add attachments to guns it freezes and sometimes it turns console off and on with controller still on but cannot respond to console so you have to take batteries out and then reinsert to make it work.

    My nephew has played other games but not had any issues and we have all downloaded the correct version which is around 130gb download.Have place a small 5 inch fan near my sons xbox and did not tun off while playing cold war last night.It is on his desk and
    not on carpet or rug.will continue to see if this helps

    Have had no other issues yet .Is there any fixes for these issues?

    COD Modern Warfare series x

    Hi!

    Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:

    What is the game in question?

    Are you sure you purchased it via the account your signed in with ?

    Have you downloaded the correct version for the game you bought?

    For eg CoD BO : cold war has 2 versions: an xbox one and a xbox series x version.

    But it is possible to play the xbox one version on the series x via backward compatibility.
